Localization Quality Assurance Tester, Japanese at MachineZone
We are looking for a person with a passion for games and tech. MZ is growing fast and we are looking for individuals who can contribute by testing MZ's localized content. This person must be able to read and write in Japanese. We’re looking for people who are intelligent, passionate about localization and yearn for opportunities to truly make an impact!
What you'll be doing:
- Research, find, categorize, log and prioritize localization/translation bugs
- Identify and report issues found in the localized versions of MZ products
- Review translation reviews and address localization issues found
- Provide cultural context for responsible language
- Create test plans and document test results
- Manage builds on a plethora of devices
- Provide emergency translation if needed
- 2+ years of LQA experience
- Fluent in Japanese and English, both verbally and in writing
- Experience testing mobile games on iOS and Android a plus
- Experience using some type of bug tracking software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A passion for the gaming industry and technology
