QA Game Tester at Maximum Games

QA Game Testers are responsible for assisting our console game testing efforts for multiple concurrent titles, finding and reporting bugs in our defect reporting systems, and ensuring that each title passes through first party approvals successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Perform frequent smoke tests to ensure project builds are functional
• Independently identify and report bugs in bug tracking databases
• Co-develop functional test cases and plans
• Communicate with QA and Production departments regularly
• Work flexible hours and assist with additional tasks as needed

• Console game testing experience
• Jira or other bug tracking solution knowledge strongly preferred
• Compliance testing (XB1/PS4/Switch) experience highly desirable
• BS or BA degree a plus

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Natural flexibility in workflow schedule
• Ability to prioritize workload and deadlines
