QA Lead MapleStory at Nexon
The QA Lead is responsible for the overall quality of the games. This includes organizing testing plans for content updates, ensuring the quality of live services and other tasks in order to support the live service of online games.
What you can expect to do in your new gig

Organize QA testing for new updates to ensure quality of the contents.

Create proper test cases, manage testing schedules, communicate with QA team (Nexon Networks or internal teams), perform publishing testing and endorsements.

Help hire and train new testers.

Actively review game forums and work with CS group to document live game issues to improve overall game experience and user satisfaction.

Support web and platform QA as needed.
-
Manage and keep track of all existing JIRA issues and work with teams to fix issues.

Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements
Your qualifications include:
-
3+ years in the trenches testing live games.
-
Understanding of QA testing procedures and methods
-
PC Online game experience. (preferably on at least one AAA title)

Experience with the following:
-
Test Case Creation and Implementation.

Test Plan Creation and Implementation.
-
QA Documentation Creation.
-
Training QA Testers.
-

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Superb time management, organizational and analytical skills
-
Good mix of analytical and creative problem solving skills
-
Familiarity with bug tracking tools and processes
-
Demonstrate ability to take direction from managers and provide feedback to the team
