QA Manual Tester at jukinmedia

Responsibilities

The QA Manual Tester is responsible for testing new features, verifying bug fixes, working with the Product Management and Software Development teams to release quality, bug-free updates to Jukin Media’s Content Acquisition/Licensing/Management platform, as well as to our consumer facing sites.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Track and verify bugs in production with each product release.
• Ability to follow test plans and accurately report results.
• Design and Document detailed use cases.
• Perform manual testing (smoke and regression).
• Documenting software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to QA Manager and project managers.

DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Experience with Scrum/Agile process
• Experience with test automation a plus
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Experience with Firebug, HTTPFox, Charles, or other web inspecting tools
• Good knowledge of the SDLC
• Experience with testing on web-based applications
