QA Mobile Lead At Epic Games

Epic Games is looking for a full-time QA Lead to head up automation efforts on two of our new mobile products, SpyJinx and Battle Breakers. The person in this role will bring QA expertise to the team as well as push the limits of technology on mobile for testing. The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
- Establishing and evolving mobile QA processes
- Creating comprehensive test strategies, test cases, and test cycles
- Helping drive and prioritize test automation
- Using QA Metrics to improve processes and ensuring that quality and personnel goals are being met
- Leading teams of local and offsite QA Analysts, Test/QA Engineers, Game Testers
- Working with local and offsite producers and developers to drive and improve process
- Advocating for quality through data
- Advocating for users by raising flags when poor user experience occurs
- Creating small efficient teams using tools, automation and experienced testers
The ideal candidate will have a mix of the qualifications below:
- Experience working in QA with some experience in a leadership role
- Experience programming/scripting in a development or test engineering capacity
- Launched at least one mobile product in a QA Lead role
- Experienced with Client/Server Testing using popular mobile communication protocols
- Experience with service-oriented architectures
- Expert on Android/IOS devices
- Solid understanding and experience with automation
- Experience leveraging device farms with automation
- Experience building strong, efficient, mobile QA teams
- Strong understanding of QA Methodologies and best practices in software testing
- Proficient in QA metrics and monitoring projects based on these metrics
