QA Tester (Contract) at Telltale Games
Telltale Games is searching for an entry level game tester to join our internal QA team. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong analytical skills, a passion for video games as a whole, and a desire to break into the industry. This role is a contract position and at times will require flexible schedules, overtime and weekend hours.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Work closely with Development and QA teams to test games throughout the development cycle
- Clearly document and track bugs for several ongoing projects with a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid understanding of modern computers and video game systems
- Passion for helping to create the best player experience
- Effective multitasking under pressure while maintaining a high quality of work
- Outstanding organizational skills and a sharp memory
- Desire to work in the video game industry starting from an entry level position
- Ability to work over-time and occasional weekends depending on project needs
Bonus:
- Experience with qualitative game feedback
- Experience with technical setup and configuration
- Experience with Microsoft TCRs/Sony TRCs; Xbox One/PS4 knowledge
- Experience with iOS/Android mobile platforms
- Fluency in a foreign language
- Knowledge of other video game industry disciplines
