QA Tester: Localization - Korean at Age of Learning

We are seeking a Japanese Localization Tester whose primary responsibility will be to test as well as review language conversions across multiple desktop browsers, Android, and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience testing, translating, and reviewing translated text from English to Korean.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and proof read full site content as well as ensure that linguistic quality adheres to our high standards and guidelines
• Detect linguistic errors in language; usage, contextual accuracy, grammar, etc.
• Find, report, and review translation errors and concerns
• Create test documentation and scripts towards potential expansion of test efforts
• Occasional translation
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Excellent written and oral skills in both Korean and English
• Knowledge of QA testing disciplines and methodologies
• Familiarity with the creation and navigation of test plans and test documentation
• Exceptional communication abilities
• Skilled at time management
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently within tight timelines
• Ability to multitask
• Experience working with bug management systems (i.e. JIRA, FogBugz, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Previous experience as an English to Korean Tester, Translator, or Reviewer
• A Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics or Education a plus
