QA Tester at Stellar Innovations

SIS is seeking an experienced Functional Software Tester to support the Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB).  As a Software Tester you will be responsible for supporting quality assurance programs and processes in alignment with the QA strategy and direction, as well as, providing feedback on artifacts developed during requirements and analysis phase within client projects; authoring test cases; and performing test execution for the US Air Force Information Technology project deliverables.

Job Summary: 

• Manually running documented, and adhoc, tests on a variety of systems
• Developing/enhancing testing capabilities, processes and procedures
• Working collaboratively with developers to fix issues discovered in testing
• Develop test plans, test cases, requirements verification, test documentation, etc.

Preferred skills:

• Experience in software testing of a released COTS or GOTS product
• Familiar with version control/bug tracking tools
• Familiar understanding of system-to-system integrations
• Familiar to software development lifecycle including version control, regression testing, and documentation

Education / Certifications / Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ professional experience
• Bachelors’ degree or equivalent work experience
