QA Tester at TCGplayer

TCGplayer.com hosts real-time pricing information and executes thousands of daily transactions for a multibillion-dollar industry with more than 25 million players. We sell and ship tens of thousands of products daily.

We are the number one online marketplace for collectible card games—like Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokemon.

This position will report to our QA Manager.

As a QA Tester, a typical day may include the following:

• Evaluating and performing manual testing against new or modified websites and procedures to verify that websites function according to requirements and conform to established guidelines
• Writing, revising and verifying test plans and test procedures for website defect identification, resolution and product enhancement evaluations in order to attain quality, economical and efficient websites
• Participating in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, usability or testing implications
• Conducting compatibility tests against different browsers for new and existing functionality
• Identifying, reporting and tracking product defects as well as addressing need for additional product functionality in a clear and concise form
• Providing troubleshooting/problem resolution for client issues when required
• Taking initiative, prioritizing and managing multiple detailed tasks in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Creating/reviewing end user and technical documentation generated for accuracy, completeness and overall quality
• Working collaboratively with developers in an agile release environment
