We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer, Clojure to join our close-knit, agile engineering team. What you’ll do:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will shift and grow but to start with, you will:

• Participate in design reviews to identify test strategy and scope
• Design test cases to validate usability, functionality, and data integrity
• Develop, execute and maintain test cases
• Isolate, report and verify software defects
• Maintain manual and automated test cases and data sets to ensure efficient test execution

• Looking to build a career rather than maintaining one
• Experience with Jira, Zephyr, Rally or ALM (Quality Center or any test management tool), Test Management and Defect tracking tools
• Obsessive desire to hunt down every bug and enthusiasm for implementing AGILE principles
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction or as part of a team

• Experience creating automated tests (knowledge of Selenium, Java, Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven)
• Experience with mobile/web applications
• Software Tester Certification

• 5+ years’ experience in software testing
• Experience defining test strategies, test plans and comprehensive test cases
• Detailed knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, particularly Agile, Scrum and XP
• Strong knowledge of database technology and SQL queries
• Linux or UNIX experience preferred
• Deductive reasoning skills necessary to determine the cause of issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and work separate projects in a fast paced & dynamic company environment and extremely tight timelines
