Senior Manager - Security Engineering at EA

What a Senior Manager, Security Engineering does at EA:
- Manage and lead team of security engineers
- Lead the strategy, implementation, and execution of our security process and tools
- Produce management information reports on security status
- Create monthly security scorecards
- Own the vulnerability management and remediation program
- Define the terms of periodic penetration test engagements with third parties
- Own relationship and engagement with penetration testers
- Develop security learning and development programs for staff
- Draft, review, and approve security policies and procedures
- Define project security requirements as necessary
- Contribute to and/or develop security products, tools, and services
- Ownership of the crisis/incident management process
The next great EA Senior Manager, Security Engineering also needs:
- A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience of the principles and practices of information security and cyber security risk management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Management, or Cyber Security preferred
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; experience with management presentations and communicating to both a technical and non-technical audience
- Background in IT audit and/or cyber security audit role with strong foundation knowledge of networking and operations
- Familiarity and experience of industry security tools and products such as Alienvault, Splunk, IAM, RScope, Juniper, and Cisco
- Knowledge of information security controls, including access control, auditing, and configuration best practices
- Knowledge of cloud security and best practices
- Strong problem solving, process improvement, and project management skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to work well on collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Solid interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with people of all levels of information technology expertise with a wide range of constituencies and organizational relationships
- Excellent analytical and data gathering skills
- Understanding of Project Management tools, techniques and methodologies
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AWS/cloud environments and their unique security considerations
- Knowledge of network protocols, Linux and Windows systems
- Information Security industry qualifications such as CISSP, GIAC, CISA, CISM or similar industry certifications preferred
